BEGINNER GUITAR I

This is where your beginner guitar lessons online begin- let’s get started!

Follow the road map of levels in order.

You will need a metronome handy for practice and testing. Try not to skip too far ahead until you have completed the proceeding level. It’s ok to work on two or three levels at a time.

Every 10 levels we will update your practice routine into the following categories:

  • Picking drills
  • Strumming patterns
  • Scales
  • Chords and songs
  • Music theory and knowledge of the guitar

We will also play the entire practice routines in real time to give you a visual on what to practice. Even if you think an exercise is too easy do not omit it from your practice routine. Play the exercise at least once and spend extra time on the more difficult challenges.

PRACTICE

We cannot stress enough the need to maintain consistent and perfect practice. Perfect practice is essential to getting the most out of Levels For Guitar.

FOR LEFT HANDED PLAYERS

Although Levels For Guitar is taught from the right-handed player perspective, by mirroring right and left you should be able to figure things out.  Whenever I say right in the video or text, think left and vice versa.  The ceiling and floor are the same for both players and fingers 1234 are the same.
